Jessie Shear

My name is Jessie, and I have been attending Rocky Peak since 2009. My husband, Troy, and I have been married since 2014, and our first date was Chipotle and the college group at RP! We love doing ministry together. I also serve in Rocky Peak Kids as a Storyteller for the 1st through 5th graders and Small Group Leader for 1st graders. I am a teacher, mom, and big fan of dogs and the performing arts.

Emily Alvarez

Hello! My name is Emily and my family and I have been attending Rocky Peak for the past several years. I’m married to my high school sweet heart, Armando, and we’re entering our 12th year of marriage. We live in the quiet city of Simi Valley and have two children. Our daughter Rory is 6 and attends Grace Elementary. Our son Gabriel is 1 and is in daycare. I teach in the 4s at Grace preschool and Armando has been in the finance and accounting profession for over 8 years. We live a simple, but often chaotic life between work, school, and activities. Some of our favorite pastimes include swimming, watching movies, and going to Disneyland/Universal. I am an avid baker and cook, too, showing my love to my friends and family with food.
