Paul Reisser
Paul Reisser, MD practiced family medicine in Thousand Oaks for 44 years before retiring in 2022 to pursue a number of projects. He has been married to Teri for 50 years, and (as she notes in her bio) for the past two decades they have enjoyed talking about marriage to anyone who will listen. He and Teri co-founded and serve on the board of ThinSpace Africa, a nonprofit organization that supports ministries in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Paul has also served on Focus on the Family’s Physicians Resource Council since 1990, and was the primary author of the Focus on the Family Complete Guide to Baby and Child Care. He is a film buff and movie format nerd. (In the early 1990s he saw a lot of weird stuff, and a few good films, as a reviewer for Movieguide.)
Teri Reisser
Teri Reisser, L.M.F.T., is a Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in southern California since 1999. She was the Director of Services and then the Executive Director for the Right To Life League of Southern California from 1989 to 1996 and was the Executive Director of the Conejo Valley CPC four years prior to that. She has co-authored several books, including Your Spouse Isn’t the Person You Married. She developed and taught a post-abortion recovery training seminar internationally for many years. Teri and her husband, Paul, have been teaching on marriage classes in conferences, marriage retreats and their church for 20 years. They live in Thousand Oaks, California; they have two grown children, four grandchildren, and one incorrigible Cat appropriately named “Loki”.
