Last week, we learned that the story of humanity can be defined by two men: Adam, whose disobedience led us into sin and death, and Jesus, whose obedience on the cross brings us into new life and freedom. Michael teaches us this week that when we choose to live in Christ, baptism is the public declaration of the Gospel of God at work in us, separating our old lives from the new life we are called to live.
